Care als methodologisches Prinzip zur Gewährleistung onto-epistemischer Zugänge in Forschung und Lehre

Abstract

Die Hochschule lässt sich nicht nur als Ort der Wissensgenerierung betrachten, sondern auch als Ort der Reproduktion und Verhandlung von Herrschafts- und Gewaltverhältnissen. Diese Verhältnisse werden durch institutionelle Strukturen, soziale und kulturelle Regeln sowie die Prinzipien der neoliberalen Hochschule geprägt und beeinflussen unsere Praxis in Forschung und Lehre. Personen, die an Forschung und Lehre teilnehmen, sind Teil dieser Verhältnisse – sie verletzen und werden verletzt, wir verletzen und werden verletzt. Care kann in diesem Kontext als ethisches Prinzip in der Hochschule verstanden werden, das versucht, sich diesen Verletzungen und ihrer Überwindung zu widmen. Darüber hinaus und im Widerspruch zu den Anforderungen der neoliberalen Hochschule ist Care jedoch ein relevantes methodologisches Prinzip zur Gewährleistung onto-epistemischer Zugänge in Forschung und Lehre. Ausgehend von meiner eigenen Forschung und Lehre stelle ich die Möglichkeiten, Potentiale und Herausforderungen von Care als methodologischem Prinzip dar, die auch die Kosten von Care als methodologischem und ethischem Prinzip im Kontext prekärer Verhältnisse und postkolonialer Machtstrukturen an unseren Hochschulen reflektieren.
