Abstract

Wir wenden szientometrische Techniken der automatisierten Inhaltsanalyse auf die Frage der in veröffentlichten soziologischen Forschungsarbeiten vorherrschenden Methodiken an. Dabei betrachten wir den methodischen Schwerpunkt der Artikel sowie die entsprechenden Merkmale der Fachzeitschriften, in denen sie erschienen sind. Gleichzeitig geben wir eine kurze Einführung in einige der grundlegenden Verfahren relevanter computergestützter Methoden und deren Grenzen. Unser besonderes Interesse gilt produktiven Verbindungen zwischen herkömmlichen Analysetechniken und kürzlich entwickelten Modellen der Diskursanalyse.
