Der Text behandelt die Erstellung und Überarbeitung von wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten und betont, sich nur auf Informationen zu konzentrieren, die für das Verständnis des Arguments notwendig sind. Zugleich ist die Komprimierung von Ideen wichtig, um zentrale Konzepte prägnant auszudrücken. Konzepte sind klar zu benennen, um sie verständlich zu machen. Auch der Prozess der Titelerstellung und die Suche nach geeigneten Metaphern sind wichtig. Schließlich wird die Erfahrung des Autors mit dem Überarbeitungsprozess und den Reaktionen auf Gutachten thematisiert.
The text deals with the creation and revision of scientific papers and emphasizes focusing only on information that is necessary for understanding the argument. At the same time, it is important to summarize ideas in order to express key concepts concisely. Concepts must be clearly named to make them understandable. The process of title creation and the search for suitable metaphors are also important. Finally, the author’s experience with the revision process and the reactions to reviews are thematized.
