Abstract

Der Artikel macht sich für die Nutzung von Simulationen, spezifisch Multi-Agent-Based-Simulations, als theoretische Werkzeuge stark und zeigt, dass die in den Neurowissenschaften paradigmatische Theorie der Active Inference besonders geeignet dafür ist. Dies geschieht über das Vorstellen einiger Simulationen, welche den Formalismus der Active Inference nutzen, um relevante Phänomene der Sozialwissenschaften zu generieren. Weiterhin wird ein Vergleich gängiger Lösungen des Mikro-Makro-Problems durch Simulation skizziert und auf weitere mögliche Erweiterungen von Multi-Agenten-Simulationen mit Active Inference hinausgeblickt.
