Mark Granovetters für die Wirtschaftssoziologie wegweisender Artikel Economic Action and Social Structure erschien vor genau vierzig Jahren. In dem Beitrag skizziere ich die Entwicklung der neuen Wirtschaftssoziologie seit dieser Zeit, deren gegenwärtigen Stand und eine mögliche Perspektive für die Weiterentwicklung des Feldes.
Mark Granovetter’s groundbreaking article Economic Action and Social Structure was published exactly forty years ago. In this paper, I outline the development of the new economic sociology since then, its current state, and a possible perspective for the further advancement of the field.
